Who we are
The Diaspora Behind the Lone Star
The LONE STAR Global Diaspora Mobilization Committee was established to support national sports development and to rally Liberians around the world behind our National Team, the Lone Star.
Through our Global Diaspora Engagement Subcommittee we connect diaspora communities with national mobilization efforts, and coordinate outreach, engagement and partnership-building across six regions of the world.

Our overarching objective is to support Liberia’s qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the FIFA World Cup.
We do it by mobilizing, coordinating and sustaining diaspora participation, and by bringing diaspora expertise and resources to the national effort.
